As a child I remember a Worcestershire sauce that I loved. I could never find anything that was comparable, so as an adult I created this original recipe that has evolved to what it is today. Over the years I prepared this sauce and created my special Bourbonshire sauce.
I wanted it to be unique with texture and flavor that would enhance any meat, soup, vegetable, dip, charcuterie platter or any recipe. I wanted it to be recognizably different and unique and distinctive.
In 2013, living in Texas we barbecued a lot and smoked meats. I was home with 4 kids, working remotely and I sat down to create a special sauce. I used the freshest local highest quality ingredients and customized a recipe.
After years of fixing many meals using my sauce for my family and friends, I was encouraged to start selling it at a farmer’s market. In 2022, I finally took a huge step and participated in a church Christmas Bazaar and my business began. I am now selling Bourbonshire at the Denton Community Market, Krugerville Farmers Market and sell wholesale and love having the opportunity to share my creation for all to enjoy!
